The "Dawati ni Elimu"” charity walk
The "Dawati ni Elimu"” charity walk was be held on 12 October from Mnazi Mmoja to Bunge Primary School led by the first lady of United republic of Tanzania Mama Salma Kikwete. “The First of its kind mayoral ball aims to raise TZS 4.98 Billion towards providing 30,487 desks to primary and secondary schools in Ilala Municipality by end of financial year 2013/14. 100% of all funds shall proceeds towards realisation of this project. Dawati Ni Elimu is a project by Hon Jerry Silaa, Mayor of Ilala Municipal council toward the build up of the annual Mayors ball. The Charity walk was sponsored by TSN Group, Eventlites, Continental Outdoor, A1outdoor and Vodacom and Managed by 361 degrees. ABOUT DAWATI Ni ELIMU.
