Wafanyakazi WOTE wa ATCL waachishwa kazi


Kamati ya kudumu ya Bunge na Fedha na Uchumi iliyokutana jijini Dar Es Salaam tarehe 25 Mei 2010 imeridhia mapendekezo na ushauri wa Ofisi ya Msajili wa Hazina la kuwaachisha kazi Wafanyakazi wote wa Shirika la Ndege Tanzania (ATCL) ili kuipunguzia mzigo Serikali. Ushauri huo umetolewa na mshauri wa Msajili wa Hazina bwana Godfrey Msella na kusema, "kama ATCL haibebeki, ni bora Serikali ibwage manyanga" na hivyo kufuatiwa na tamko rasmi la Mwenyekiti wa tume hiyo ya Bunge, mhe. Abdallah Kigoda.

Hatua kama hiyo iliwahi kuchukuliwa katika shirika la Bima la Taifa (NIC) na imependekezwa kuwa hatua hii isiichie ATCL pekee bali ifike pia katika Shirika la Reli nchini (TRL).
