FACEBOOK INTRODUCES 'LIKE' FEATURE IN COMMENTS TOO
Until yesterday, we were used to have the "like" feature only in the status message but not in the comment section. Starting today, Facebook has introduced "like" feature in both the statuses and comments.
Why cheer up for this?
Well, if there one thing or two that I disliked was having to reply to every single comment that came under my status message; or having to write back a comment to 'thank' as an appreciation for someone leaving a comment on my status message or comment. It reached a time I'd wait and give it time to see how many people responded before I could thank them all in one post.
What else?
Remember when you liked one's comment but didn't really want to say anything and wished you could just click under their comment to show that you liked it?
With this feature we are going to see less repetitive comments thus less 'inbox notification' and therefore a bit cleaner 'inbox'. You only have to click "like" on someone's comment to show that you 'agree' or 'was going to say the same' with regards to the main post.
Just like on the wall posts, when someone likes your comment, you will be receiving notifications (if you signed for this), others will also be able to see who has liked their comments based on their privacy settings.
I believe this is going to cut off a lot of hassle! So, yeah, go out there and start liking people's valuable comments and Happy responsible Facebooking!
