Google starts labeling 'Contains Ads' for apps and games monetizing using ads
Google's Play Store has started implementing what it informed developers last year about declaring whether their apps had ads or not.
Users who'd rather pay a little amount to have ads taken off permanently, or those who are annoyed by having to install the app first to find out if it has ads or not before uninstalling it, will appreciate this move of helping them know beforehand what's in the app or game they're installing.
Now, apps and games have started showing up on the Play Store with "Contains ads" text, right below the Install / Buy / Open button and next to "In-app purchases" (if applicable).
