As part of our Marketing and Communication team at Amana Bank. Primary Responsibilities:
Graphic Design
• In charge of concept development, design, and production of all marketing materials in both English and Swahili. .

Additional Responsibilities:
Website Management
• Update both content and photos for Amana Bank website based on inputs from different services on a regular basis
• Manage and update website's layout according to Amana Bank guidelines
• Assist the team in managing social media sites

Multimedia Design
• Support in-house video production projects (basic video editing, & other technical support)
• Design flash animations, e-cards, and other forms of multimedia products when required

Marketing & Communication Support
• Manage branded merchandise stock and databases
• Respond to different marketing & communications requests, including event support.

Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing or relevant field from recognized university.
• Diploma in graphic/multimedia design '
• At least 2 years of experience in corporate design, preferably in a multinational working environrnent
• Good written and spoken English .
• Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite 6 (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash and After Effects)
• Working knowledge of website management
• Working knowledge of video editing a plus
• Passion for creative work, good organizational skills, accuracy, attention to detail, willingness and ability to multitask.
Familiar with working within corporate identity guidelines.
• Design Portfolio (samples of marketing materials and other design pieces that reflect capabilities)

WaterAid Tanzania is looking for a Director of Finance to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world's poorest communities.

As a Director of Finance: You will be a member of the Senior Management Team. You will provide strategic leadership and take responsibility for all finance functions within the country programme.
This will be achieved by reviewing existing policies and procedures to ensure the sound financial management and control of the organisation's activities, including supporting partner organisations, to operate according to Water Aid's financial management framework. You will assist in the capacity building of WaterAid partner organisations to undertake finance activities that resonate to WaterAid and donor requirements.

• Contribute to the development of the strategic plan for the Country Programme and develop and maintain appropriate and effective financial strategies, plans and policies to support the strategic plan.
• Develop, implement and maintain financial management procedures, risk assessments and control measures to manage, monitor and audit transactions across the Country Programme and to ensure compliance with WaterAid's overall policies, good practice standards, external donor requirements and national laws and regulations, identifying corrective measures as required.
• Lead, manage, motivate and develop team members in area of responsibility in order to maximise their contribution to the team, organisation and their own professional development.
• Consolidate financial information and provide narrative for management accounts to support financial decision-making
Lead the financial forecasting process to produce relevant, accurate and timely financial forecasts across WaterAid
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other SMT members to understand their financial support requirements, co-ordinate appropriate responses and ensure implementation of finance policies and support to the SMT members in preparation of plans and budgets.
• Facilitate and co-ordinate both internal and external audits and lead the development and implementation of action plans based on audit recommendations, monitoring progress on achievements. .
• Support capacity building of WATz staff and partner organisations in areas of financial management and reporting.
• Lead/facilitate/co-ordinate assessments of partners' financial management ability and assist in building their capacity to develop internal financial systems.
• Ensure that relevant reconciliation, financial reports and audits are completed accurately, on time and submitted as appropriate.
• Develop and implement procedures for assessing the value for money that WaterAid obtains in all its activities to identify cost savings and ensure financial efficiency and value for money principles are an integral part of the Country Programme activities.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of financial legislation and good practice to ensure that the
Country Programme complies with all legal requirements and proactively stays at the
• Forefront of financial management practice.
• Maintain oversight of the country programme funding position and grant management.
• Ensure reasonable care is taken of self and others in the workplace (including team members managed if appropriate) according to health and safety policy and principles.

The Job holder shall meet or possess the following minimum qualifications and competencies.

• Fully completed Accounting qualification/certification e.g. CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA. Master's degree in a Finance qualification shall be an added advantage.
• Minimum 7 years at senior level management.
• Quality and relevant experience in finance and accountancy in a senior position in a major organisation
• IT literate and excellent knowledge and skills in using computer based Accounting systems and Microsoft Excel and Word packages. .
• Experience in preparing and monitoring budgets & developing monitoring and reporting systems.
• Ability to provide financial analysis and interpretation to Country Management Team for decision-making.
• Knowledge of government policies and regulations on financial management and taxation
• Knowledge of international donor reporting requirements .
• Excellent (proven) interpersonal both oral and written communication skills.
• Highly numerate.
• Ability to think strategically with excellent planning and prioritisation skills
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
• Successfully leading, managing, building high performing teams and developing capacity in professional finance teams.

Title: Grants Manager

Position Summary
The Grants Manager is responsible in providing efficient and effective support for the management of grants/sub-grants, development financial and accounting systems in support of the sub-grants/sub-grants, development of financial and accounting systems in support of the sub-grants are to partners, preparation of donor and internal budget monitoring reports, ensuring accurate and complete documentation, grant filing and compliance to all donor and internal requirements. The Grants Manager is also responsible for ensuring a thorough grant/sub-grant agreements/contracts review, proper liquidations of funds advanced to partners and timely submission of financial and narrative reports to donors

Responsibilities :
The Manager will specifically be responsible for Grants Management Systems ensuring all grant management procedures and systems are consistent with Africare policies and donors rules and regulations; ensuring that systems are regularly updated and effective in analyzing variances and coordination of budget realignments and regular updating of grants files; Reports Management by reviewing sub-grant agreements between Africare Tanzania and partner institutions, in accordance with leading agency principles and frameworks; reviewing and providing support to institutional sub-grantees in preparation of their financial and programmatic reports; ensuring implementation of all donor financial compliance requirements in coordination with the relevant budget holders; monitoring adherence of sub-grantees to the sub-grant agreements and to donor policies; managing grants/sub-grants accounting and budgetary functions ensuring adherence to Africare Tanzania and Donor reporting requirements; conducting regular visits to partners and Africare project sites to ensure that financial controls and procedures are in place to effectively manage grants. S/he will be responsible for Advances Management ensuring that system for programmme-wide income and advanced tracking is working and lead in chasing income from donors in liaison with Finance director; establishing control systems and preparing monthly income progress reports; s/he will also support management in Grants Proposals preparation and strengthening of staff capacity to complete financial and programmatic reporting requirements; ensure a system in place and working to analyse overhead costs, and that the system works to track administration cost recovery; ensure timely and accurate information is provided to management on Grants Management systems to produce quality and competitive project proposals. S/he will directly lead, manage and motivate staff under her/his line management ensuring that they have clear work plans that address project objectives and receives regular supervisions and reviews; participates in developing the country programme funding strategy and preparing Annual financial Operational Plans; ensure budget-holders are provided with the information and training they need in order to understand donor guidelines, compliance issue and the Afriare Tanzania grant management procedures, and that this forms part of the induction of new staff and ensure all grants are audited as per the donor rules and regulations and assist throughout its processes for smooth completion

Qualifications:
The right candidate will be holder of professional qualifications in Accounting: CPA/ACCA or Degree in Accounting; at least 7 years INGOs experiences especially on grants management; proven experience in preparing budgets, financial monitoring reports, budgetary systems and controls with strong analytical skills; experience in staff management, supervision and training knowledge and experience financial computer applications, including QuickBooks accounting packages and spreadsheets; knowledge of donor financial policies and guidelines including USAID/USG funded programmes; ability to support, work with and interpret financial reports to staff with limited financial skills; strong organizational skills, including time management and ability to meet deadlines and work as part of a professional team; willingness to travel to field officers and work in difficult environment from time to time
